Research
We are devoted to examining brain and behavior relationships using electrophysiological techniques and psychometric instruments. Our research interests include the study of attention, working memory, and emotion. We use various components of the Event-Related Potential (ERP) such as N170, N250 and P3, and the contingent negative variation (CNV) to understand these functioning and related processes.
The lab is presently conducting a translational study on the efficacy of the innovative approach of neurofeedback (NFB). This non-invasive technique has scientific implications in alleviating neurological, psychiatric, and developmental conditions. Neurofeedback is also used to promote general brain function and well being. |
